Triumph GT6

The Triumph GT6 rolled off the line with 13x4.5" steel wheels and 4x95.25mm bolt pattern throughout its production run from 1966-1973. These narrow steel wheels were topped with chrome hubcaps and wrapped in skinny 155SR-13 tires that look almost comically small by today's standards. Some later models and markets got slightly wider 13x5" wheels, but the bolt pattern and steel construction remained constant across all years.

For your GT6, our 13x5.5", 13x6", or 13x7" wheels in 4x95.25mm bolt pattern are perfect upgrades that maintain the classic proportions while adding some much-needed width. If you want to go bigger, our 14x5.5" or 14x6" options give you more tire choices and a slightly more modern look without overwhelming the GT6's compact proportions. All our vintage-style aluminum wheels will shed serious weight compared to those heavy factory steel wheels.

The GT6 was essentially a hardtop Spitfire with Triumph's smooth 2.0L straight-six shoehorned under the hood, creating one of the most beautiful and underrated sports cars of the late '60s. While it never achieved the popularity of the MGB or TR6, the GT6 has developed a devoted following among enthusiasts who appreciate its unique fastback styling and refined six-cylinder power delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question Answer
What's the factory bolt pattern on a Triumph GT6? All GT6 models from 1966-1973 use a 4x95.25mm bolt pattern. This matches our VTO Wheels 4x95.25mm bolt pattern option, so you'll have perfect fitment with any of our compatible sizes.
What VTO Wheels sizes fit my GT6? For stock replacement, our 13x5.5" wheels work great. Popular upgrades include 13x6", 13x7" for wider rubber on 13" diameter, or step up to 14x5.5" or 14x6" for more tire options while keeping the classic proportions right.
Do I need hub-centric rings for my GT6? Most GT6 owners will need hub-centric rings since the factory center bore is typically smaller than our wheel center bore. We can provide the correct rings when you order - just let us know your specific year and we'll get you sorted.
What offset should I run on my GT6? GT6s typically run best with offsets in the +10mm to +25mm range from our available -7mm to +38mm offset options. This keeps the wheels tucked properly under the fenders while maintaining good suspension geometry and avoiding interference issues.
How does shipping work? Orders are shipped as soon as the machining process is completed. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. Expedited shipping is available for $50 per order (up to 4 wheels). Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement. All orders include full damage/loss insurance.
How can I contact sales and support at VTO? You can reach our customer support team by emailing sales@vtowheels.com, or by calling us at 1 (866) 855-3473, or using the live chat on our website.
What is your return policy? We accept returns for manufacturing defects and fulfillment errors. Orders have a 24-hour cancellation window, after which cancellations will not be accepted due to custom machining. Orders will not be accepted for return after tires have been mounted.
