Pontiac GTO

The original Pontiac GTO came factory with 14-inch steel wheels from 1964-1967, typically 14x5.5 or 14x6 depending on the year and options. All GTOs used the standard GM 5x4.75" bolt pattern (5x120.65mm), which remained consistent throughout the entire production run. The early cars often wore simple stamped steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps or full wheel covers, though Rally II wheels became available as an option in later years. Backspace was typically around 3.75-4 inches, giving these muscle cars their characteristic stance.

By 1968, Pontiac offered the iconic Rally II wheels as factory equipment - these were styled steel wheels that became synonymous with the GTO look. The 1970-1974 models could be ordered with 14x7 Rally IIs, and some late models even offered 15-inch options. The factory setups were conservative by today's standards, but they perfectly complemented the GTO's aggressive lines.
